HISTORIC BACKGROUND
Summer was born as the last child 5 sisters, to two wonderful but totally controlling parents! Being the youngest, Summer was always the baby being spoiled, getting the hand-me-downs, and driving her older more stuffy sisters crazy. While her sisters were pursuing more ‘grown up’ activities, summer was prancing around in her tiara and tutu, singing along to the latest pop songs and doing magic tricks for the neighbors. Her attention span was as short as her pinkie and it was impossible for her to focus on anything longer than a few weeks.
This continued on in her teen years, where she could never pick major to stick with. She tried art, choir, band, journalism, video club, fencing – everything until she settled on Drama Club. It was the only class she managed straight A’s in where she just barely scratched through the rest of high school with a passing grade.
Her father and mother own their own Law firm, and two of her uncles are retired cops. Her eldest sister, Alexis just passed the Bar to join her parents at the firm, the second oldest, Serena, is a Cop, the third oldest, Tamara a Private Investigator, the fourth sister is studying journalism.
With Law and Journalism as a running tradition in the Sparrow family, Summer was the odd one out. None of those things remote interesting her, but she tried them out in college anyway. Eventually Summer decided enough was enough. She dropped out of college, and without so much as a “I’m leaving!” Summer packed up all her stuff and ran off to L.A. Moving from crappy job to crappy job, Summer has been working her ass off to try and get herself in to show business.
Summer is the poster chic for finding the wrong kind of guys. Every guy she’s ever dated has turned out to be some sort of crook, abuser, junkie, asshole, cheater, or jerk. Except for that one nerd guy she dated for a month in High School as a favor. For some reason she’s attracted to the wrong kind of men! But bad feels so good!
